Bali~Dao~Sufi~Way of the Heart Retreat

4 Days Immersion in Balinese, Daoist & Sufi Wisdom

14–17 June 2026 | Sideman, Bali

Hosted in the lush valley of Sideman at the sacred retreat space of Balinese Priestess, The Way of the Heart is a journey into the living wisdom of 3 ancient traditions: Balinese spirituality, Daoist cultivation, and mystical path of Sufism.

This retreat is an invitation to remember what it means to live from the heart.

~

Through ceremony, movement, contemplation, sound, poetry, prayer, and community, we explore the heart not merely as an emotion, but as a way of being – the bridge between Heave & Earth, body & spirit, self and community.

~

Together we purify, awaken, nourish, and express the deepest truth within us.

Surrounded by Bali’s sacred mountains, rivers, and rice terraces, we gather in a circle of seekers, creators, healers, visionaries, and lovers of life to rediscover the wisdom that has always lived within the human heart.

Unique immersion, healing, awakening

Ancient Ceremonies of Purification

Experience powerful Balinese fire and water ceremonies guided by Balinese Priestess: Agni Hotra offerings, sacred mantras, and Melukat water purification rituals that cleanse and renew body, mind, and spirit.

Daoist Embodiment Practices

Learn Qi Gong movements – the wisdom of the Five Elements. Discover how emotions arise as expressions of elemental forces within us, and how they can be transformed into creativity, balance, and flow.

Sufi Mysticism & Heart Awakening

Explore the path of the heart through Sufi practices including Whirling, Zekir (sacred remembrance), poetry, contemplation, and the study of the Divine Names. Experience the profound stillness and aliveness that emerges when we return to the center of the heart.

Sound, Voice & Sacred Expression

Awaken your authentic voice through movement, chanting, song, poetry, and heart-centered communication practices. Discover how to speak, listen, and create from a place of deeper truth and presence.

Community & Sacred Friendship

Through guided partner exercises, heart dialogues, creative expression, and shared rituals, we cultivate authentic connection, learning how to express love, receive love, and meet one another with openness and sincerity.

Integration Through Nature & Rest

Enjoy nourishing Ayurvedic-inspired meals, quiet moments for reflection, writing, and integration, all within the serene beauty of Sideman’s sacred landscape.

Programme of the Retreat

Our journey begins with arrival into sacred space. Leaving behind the momentum of ordinary life, we gather in circle to establish a shared intention for the days ahead. Through ritual, movement, and sound, we begin releasing old identities and stories that no longer serve our becoming.

Together we create an altar for the Way of the Heart — a living symbol of our collective journey and a reminder of what we are choosing to cultivate within ourselves.

The evening concludes with heart-opening practices and sound healing, inviting us into a state of presence, receptivity, and inner listening.

You don’t just learn from Lola; you experience a visceral shift in your body and mind. An absolute revelation.”

“As someone living in the high-stress matrix of city life, I was constantly running on adrenaline until it turned into chronic anxiety and burnout. Lola’s work was a complete game-changer. She understands the modern intellect and the toll urban life takes on our neurobiology, as she used to work in the City in strategy consultancy. Through her masterful combination of acupuncture and sound healing, as well as spiritual coaching, she literally rewired my nervous system, shifting me out of a constant ‘fight-or-flight’ state and back into my true essence. Her space is a profound, necessary sanctuary for any conscious leader.”

Her deep mastery of Daoist energy cultivation and Vedic principles provides an incredibly potent framework for both mental clarity and somatic healing. Yet, there is no rigid dogma here—Lola integrates modern insights so smoothly that the practice feels completely alive and necessary for today’s world. If you are ready to meet yourself on a deeper level and touch the essence of true lineages, she is the master teacher to guide you home.”
